It was mid December when Pirate Captain Blarg
Noticed his scurvy crew were getting mean and looking hard
They wouldn’t be back to port by Christmas Day
And were ready to toss the Captain away
So with his first mate as his helpful elf
he decided to be Santa Claus himself
He picked a gift for each of his crew
So that maybe their Christmas wouldn’t be so blue
Pirate Santa Yo ho! Ho! Ho!
He made a list and checked it twice,
but these are pirates, none of them are nice
Yo ho ho
He got a new hook for Billy, because his one was covered with rust,
And a gem encrusted swash buckling sword for little pirate Gus
A new padded eyepatch for One-eyed Mike
And a wooden leg for Doug, the old one was eaten by termites!
Fresh rope for Sally, she loves to tie knots
And sea-sick pills for Old Queasy Doc
Bright copper pots for Frenchy the chef
And a dry powder horn for blunderbuss Jeff
Dreadlock Dave got three red bandanas
And Mad Monkey Man Mark got a big bunch of bananas
Pirate Santa Yo ho! Ho! Ho!
He knew St. Nick wouldn’t make it that way
But he wanted the scallywags to have a holiday!
On Christmas morning the crew came to the deck
And all gave a shout of joy “what the heck?’
Cause the main mast was lit up like a Christmas tree
With presents all around for everybody
Of course there is a morale to this holiday story
Doesn’t matter if you are a land lubber or lost out at sea
Take a tip you parents from Captain Blarg and you will see
Don’t forget Christmas or you’ll have a mutiny!
