Mom Counts to Three When we get ready to go out the door my mom says Ok I’ve got my purse and keys, get your stuff and meet me at the door And I say sure thing mom I can totally do this but then, wait what am I supposed to do, oh no, she going to say it! SNOW! Hey now hey now when we fall for fall and summer says “So long y’all!” Days get short and nights grow so tall that is time for us to Put away the swim suits and the sun screen Pull out the big boots and the warm things Say goodbye to green until spring Run to the front window and look for SNOW! Lets watch for the snow When it gets COLD I can’t wait for Big flakes falling in a flurry you see them - If you see them you better hurry Catch them on your tongue and nose - Tons of fun for young and old! Watching magically falling all around Hope it piles up four feet on the ground Comes down so soft doesn’t make a sound “Hey mom can we go out now?” (GO!) Hurry scurry for you gloves and hat, bathroom first before the snow pants So many layers that I can, barely waddle out into the SNOW! Lets get in the I don’t mind the COLD, now I want to Go sledding and ride the toboggin - Throw snow balls – but not at the noggin Oh no it stopped fallin - Looks like its time for SNOW DANCE! If we get all tired and cold, go inside for hot chocolate (COCO!) Pile the mug high with mini marshmallows, dip into it with sticks of butter toast Tomorrow lets do it all again, build snow people and forts with our friends Hope this winter never ends we waited all year long just for the SNOW! As you might have guessed, Put Your Arms in the Air! is all about fun, humor, movement and joy. This album follows up our 2017 Parents’ Choice Gold Award winning CD Bubbles. We allowed ourselves plenty of space for being silly on this one, but always return to quality music and positive messages for kids and families.
